Two weeks ago,
we announced on this site our intention
to seek the intercession of
Southern Baptist officials
during their annual meeting in
New Orleans.

Almost immediately,
a neighbor -- an SBU alumnus and retired
employee of the First Baptist Church of Bolivar --
launched an assault adjacent to (and on)
Marie's property
with the aid of a massive
City/County herbicide truck.

Marie was forewarned
and avoided a much more extensive,
and possibly fatal injury,
but the inevitable conclusion
(from this and a myriad of other events)
is that, regardless of what agreement
may or may not be reached,
some individuals and factions
associated with SBU and the MBC
do not wish Marie to survive:  
they do not want Marie to live.

Later this week,
we will be posting Marie's certified letter
to the officials of
Southwest Baptist University
the Missouri Baptist Convention,
and the Southern Baptist Convention
which we have entitled:

I Want to Live ...
A plea to spare Marie's life

Additional letters to
Senators, Congressman, other officials
and newspapers
are to be posted shortly.

Welcome Back SBU Summer Students!

Again, Marie has received
no word from SBU, the MBC,
or anyone else associated with the
list of individuals and agencies

Marie has recovered from
the attempted harm caused by
a neighbor's pesticide application
last Monday, June 11.

No, there is not yet an agreement.
