Dear Ms. Lynda Thompson:
I am sending to your Joplin office a signed and
rather urgent
request for some documentation concerning the
full electrical
billing for my accounts .
There seems to be some error or inconsistency in the several
different billings, in the billing computation, or, perhaps, in
my understanding of the billing process.
Specifically, the billing does not seem to distinguish the
exact
totals for these accounts -- minus the additional estimated
APP payments for the coming year.
Would you be kind enough to prepare a single page
billing for
each of these two accounts which delineates the
exact single
sum totals through the July 18, 2001 billing?
Because this documentation is needed more or less immediately
(by this weekend at the latest), I would sincerely appreciate
your sending three (3) copies of each of these documents.
Having these duplicate copies already available will save me
considerable time and effort.
In early July, my representative spoke to one of you Customer
Service Representatives and was assured that there was no
possibility of disconnection of my electrical service until at
least
twenty-one days (21) days after the July 18 billing
date -- or
until at least August 9, 2001.
There would, therefore, seem to be little need for urgency at
this time.
However, given the fact that my last payment took an astonishing
four (4!) days to arrive at your Joplin office, I thought it best to
make the request by fax as well so that your response would arrive
in time.
I would like to prevent even the vague
possibility of a misunder-
standing or an accidental disruption of my electrical service --
a disastrous prospect for me as even a temporary disruption
could result in pulmonary and respiratory inflammation which
would hinder my ability to relocate (as planned) by early or mid
September.
I would appreciate your preparing these documents so that,
once my signed request arrives, you may send the documentation
immediately, and we may more quickly bring this situation to
a resolution.
Later this week (Thursday or Friday), my representative will
call to make certain that all is well and to clarify any questions
you may have.
