We call upon God, the angels,
and each of you to witness that
no one from SBU has given.
~*~
Ask
yourselves, if SBU had ever
intended Marie
anything but
harm,
wouldn't someone, somewhere
(even by accident) have contributed
something to sustain Marie's well-being?
~*~
Complete strangers
from across the country
have given freely to help Marie ...
but NOT
SBU.
~*~
SBU operatives
have campaigned
viciously
to do Marie
harm.
Over the years, they have fought
savagely
and incessantly to prevent
Marie
from obtaining even
the simplest of human
necessities:
suitable medical information and care;
housing, electrical, and disability assistance,
and even the smallest measure of
compassion and support
(even prayer or church membership)
as she battled
an excruciating, disabling, and
potentially life-threatening injury --
even to the point of denying her
essential food and
nutrition.
~*~
Ask
yourselves,
why
would SBU do this?
Does anyone seriously still believe that
this conduct is the result of a
"misunderstanding?"

Marie's Question to the
SBU Trustees
Will you compensate me for the years
of financial, physical, academic, professional,
social, emotional, psychological, mental,
and spiritual injury and harm which
you and your associates have inflicted upon
me, my family, and friends
by the use of unethical, immoral, abusive,
and illegal means?
Yes or No.

A Letter to Mr. Jim Hill,
Executive Director of the
Missouri Baptist Convention
and
Southwest Baptist University
Trustees
and
others
Marie urges Mr. Jim Hill and the
Southwest Baptist University Trustees
to immediately remedy
their lack of diligence
in dealing with the immoral, unethical
and possibly criminal conduct
of SBU officials, faculty, and associates.
In handling these situations,
Marie encourages Mr. Hill to exercise
"intelligent
compassion" and
"people
stewardship" --
the wise and responsible investment
in people and their God-given gifts.
Though Marie acknowledges that dismissal
of certain employees may now be inevitable
in some cases, she advocates for a more
balanced and constructive form of discipline
that involves
"re-investment in life and
people
(even when people
fail)"
rather than the more severe, career-destroying
punitive measures.
However, Marie asks that
she
not be required to continue to carry
the life-crushing
financial, emotional, psychological, academic,
professional, social, and physical
burden of the consequences
of the misconduct
of these
other
individuals.
She
requests that the
financial compensation and resources
that have unjustly and
violently
been denied her
be restored immediately and
that arrangements
be made to rectify other related
situations.
