     "You mean they put hazardous waste in perfumes?  Wow, no way!"

     "Yes, way.  In perfumes ... and pesticides.  That's why Marie can
not tolerate or has severe allergic or anaphylactic reactions to perfumes
and fragrances.  Many of the same toxic chemicals and irritants that
contaminated the pesticides also contaminate fragranced products and
perfumes. Read the series of posts on the website over the next few days.
Then, you will understand"

The above conversation was the reaction of one friend upon hearing
about the next series of posts which will deal with the loopholes in the
trade secret and pesticide regulation laws.

Such laws protect the incorporation of toxic chemicals in consumer
products by labeling them as "trade secret ingredients" and permit
hazardous waste -- including banned pesticides, and hazardous (even
radioactive) waste -- to be recycled in pesticides as "inert ingredients."

We are adding a total of seven (7) pages and links today.

First, we have received permission to post several of the works of the late
activist Julia Kendall -- who died in 1997 of  complications from leukemia
and pesticide poisoning.

Also, ENH has filed a petition with the FDA to have the fragrance
Eternity by Calvin Klein declared misbranded.

Chemical analysis of this fragrance -- and five others -- revealed
chemicals which are known toxins, carcinogens, irritants, sensitizers,
or which have not been safety tested.

Two independent laboratories identified such chemicals as
diethyl phthalate
(suspected hormone disrupter with ability to
accumulate in the fatty tissues of the human body through skin absorption);
hydrocinnamaldehyde
(targets the testes, epididymis and sperm ducts);
phenols
(suspected carcinogens, may cause reproductive harm);
benzeneethanol
(rated toxic, readily absorbed via skin, central nervous
system effects); synthetic musks (recently in the news as substances
which accumulate in human and animal tissues) and skin and respiratory
irritants
. The petition contains the laboratory analyses and material
safety data sheets for most of the identified chemicals.

Below we have posted the ENH Press Release and a link to
the charted summary of the chemical analysis.

Morning ~ Tuesday, April 11, 2000 about 8:00 am (CST)

We are disappointed to report that there is little or no
*visible* progress toward resolving this situation.

It
*appears
* that the Missouri Baptist Convention continues
to condone, encourage, and "benefit" from the unethical,
immoral, and potentially criminal conduct of the employees
and associates of
Southwest Baptist University
.

The Spring Meeting of the
Executive Committee of the
Missouri Baptist Convention
meeting at Camp Windermere
is concluding this afternoon.

We recognize, however, that -- due to discretionary
considerations and privacy laws -- some disciplinary (and other)
actions may not be immediately evident for several days.

Therefore, contact and consultation will be made with
the
Missouri Baptist Convention
during Easter week --
on Monday, April 17, 2000.

The results of that consultation will be posted here.

We will continue to post pages and additional information
to this site until then.

Thank you.

More to come ...

Our sincere apologies for the delays in postings this week.

Over the last week, we have experienced a variety of technical problems,
other difficulties, and new developments.

We will not take time to elaborate now except to say that Mr. Bill Gates
appears to have a vastly different perception of the what is meant by the
term *technical support* than the rest of us.

At this point, the technical problems seem to have been resolved
(due primarily to divine intervention).

These disruptions have hampered and delayed communications, but we
hope to post a full update and a number of new pages later this evening --
Wednesday, April 19, 2000.

Thank you.

Morning ~ Monday, April 24, 2000 about 11:00 am (CST)

The Many-Headed Beast

The more we have dealt with the Missouri Baptist Convention and
Southwest Baptist University
, the more we are forced to acknowledge
that these corporations are, indeed, like the mythical many-headed beast --
each head with its own objectives, prejudices, personal and political
ambitions ... and "secrets" to keep.

This Easter Weekend, there were several new developments -- including
new media offers.

During the coming week or so, we will attempt to reach some form of resolution.

We are,  however, concerned that even if we are able to come to an agreement,
Marie and other witnesses are still in jeopardy of being "devoured" by one or
the other "heads" while endeavoring to escape.

In plain English, we have been hoping to reach an agreement that will allow
Marie (and other witnesses) to live without further slander, persecution,
assault, or the continuous threat of violation, defamation, injury, harassment,
or other forms of brutalization or torment by these individuals.

We now recognize that this may be impossible.

As a part of a resolution offer, Marie has wholeheartedly agreed to leave
the country in order to seek treatment
-- although Marie knows that
such a strenuous trip could (in and of itself) prove fatal.

Marie's proposal and resolution offer to the Missouri Baptist Convention
entitled:
     "Sensitivity of the Heart:  A Proposal For Peace."
has been reworked to incorporate this and other offers.

But, even the promise of  Marie leaving the country for treatment (and
thereby lessening the probability of any political or legal fallout) or
the provision that  Marie relinquish any effort to complete her undergraduate
degree at SBU or, perhaps, any other university (thereby minimizing any
legal complications or repercussions for SBU) does not seem capable
of satiating this multi-headed beast.

The display of malice, hostility, and hatred by the Missouri Baptist Convention
and Southwest Baptist University toward Marie or those of us who have been
forced to speak has not, to our knowledge, diminished.

Apparently, Marie knows too much to be allowed to exist.

As one reporter noted, "They are just waiting for her to die."

In the witnessed words of one of the members of First Baptist Church of Bolivar
and a prominent SBU booster
(whose relative is a recently-elected
SBU Trustee
):
      "If Marie died, there would not be any lawsuit."

The first of some fifteen (15) pre-dawn pesticide assaults against Marie's
home -- which resulted in the death of three outdoor pets -- began that week.

The same booster later informed one of Marie's friends,
      "You'd better get her [Marie] a will."

Yes, according to this SBU philosophy:  Dead students tell no tales.

How can Marie and others hope to escape such a many-headed,
multi-fanged "beast" with their lives in tact?

"Mercy"
is defined by this beast as the complete absence of responsibility
or consequence for their actions and conduct.

Anyone who questions this definition will pay ... with their reputations, careers,
families, friends, and, perhaps, with their lives.

     "Give us our 'mercy' now," this beast seems to hiss,  "... or we will kill."

If Southwest Baptist University and the Missouri Baptist Convention
refuses to discipline and control their employees and associates
or
to honor the laws of either God or Man, perhaps resorting to publicity
through the National Media is the only option left to secure some degree
of safety for those who have been unfortunate enough to wander into
this beast's dark den.

It is difficult to believe that this grim many-headed beast has any relationship
to Jesus, the Son of the Holy Living God, whose Easter Resurrection we
have just celebrated.

We will keep you posted daily as to any progress made.

More to come ...

Morning ~ Wednesday, April 26, 2000 about 11:50 am (CST)

Though there is much activity behind the scenes today, we do not
have anything to report publicly at this time.

We have received several inquiries as to whether Marie had any of
these respiratory or asthmatic symptoms as a youngster or young adult.

The short answer is -- no.

Marie did not have any of these respiratory or asthmatic symptoms
before the exposures to the unethically and illegally applied pesticides
and solvents at Southwest Baptist University.

Severe exposure to these toxins caused permanent changes and damage
to Marie's cholinergic system due to the refusal of SBU officials to provide
her with required and timely medical care and information on these
cholinesterase inhibiting pesticides.

Had the antidote been administered promptly, the damage due to
the permanent and
irreversibly binding of the organophosphates  to
the cholinesterase receptors would have been minimized.

Medical authorities now recognize the link between the
disruption
of the cholinergic system by organophosphate pesticides and other
chemicals as one of three
primary causes of Occupational Asthma.

We have one (1) quick page to add to the

An Excerpt from
"So What About the Money?: A Conversation Among Friends"

                    ~~~~~~~~~~~~*******~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That's all?!  Only 350,000 dollars?!" gasped an exasperated friend.
"Yep, $350,000," responded another friend.
"You mean Marie offered to settle the litigation against Southwest
Baptist University
for only $350,000?  Three hundred and fifty
thousand ... American dollars, right?" the friend repeated slowly.
"Marie even lowered it to $348,000.  Her lawyers offered to settle
it without any charge except to recover their expenses ... so that
would have left Marie less than $300,000."
"Only 300,000? That's not nearly enough!" interjected a third friend.
"I agree.  That might be enough to pay off some of the medical debts
and pay for treatment for a year or so, but good medical care is
expensive and most of this is not covered by Medicare or insurance
and has to be paid out-of-pocket ..."
"... and Marie is permanently disabled and will need care for the rest
of  her life
.  She would still need enough money for relocation to a safe
living situation.  And, how would she pay for future bills and living
expenses ... never mind future medical expenses of at least $100,000
or more a year!"
"I know ... I know.   Before Marie's mother died, she pleaded with Marie
not to accept such a nominal offer."
"Her mother?"
"Yes, Marie's mother said that $300,000 wouldn't even come close
to paying for all those life-long expenses, and then Marie would be
left without any means of support."
"That's a ridiculously low amount. Why would Marie agree to make
such an offer even after her mother warned her?"
At the time, Marie thought that she still might be able to recover some
of the whole use of her hands and legs if she got treatment right away
and ..."
\
"Wait a second:  'at the time?What time?  When did Marie make
this offer?"
"In October of 1992 -- a couple weeks after the break-in."
"1992?!  The year of our Lord nineteen and ninety two ... you mean,
wait, I'm counting ... five, six, seven ... EIGHT years ago?"
